The Prendia EXPERT supplement additionally detects monosomy X and trisomy X as well as rare trisomies (e.g. 7, 16 and 22) and some rare but serious structural chromosomal abnormalities.

Prendia START is charged at CHF 459.00*. If the risk of trisomy 21, 18 or 13 determined by the 1st trimester test is 1:1,000 or higher, the test is reimbursed by your compulsory health insurance (AOS; basic insurance). Sex chromosome testing (X and Y) can be ordered in addition to Prendia START at no extra cost.

Prendia EXPERT costs CHF 809.00*/**, part of which is covered by the health insurance companies (under the same conditions as for Prendia START).
